IMPORTANT -- Gated Property Information
Posted on Mar 16th, 2012 Comments (0)
During our Annual Meeting, Fire Chief Hoffstadt advised that emergency response teams--either police, fire, or ambulance--may NOT access the property if there is a gate UNLESS you call and register your code with the Kendall County Sheriff.  As one homeowner learned the hard way, the Sheriff's deputies were unable to "jump the fence" to investigate an alarm!

Kendall County Sheriff's Animal Control
Posted on Jul 4th, 2011 Comments (0)
The Animal Control Department assists the public with any animal-related problem and to provide the public and animals with the care and respect they deserve. They will assist with sick, injured, stray or unwanted animals. Domestic animals or livestock should not be allowed to run loose and cause a public nuisance, and should be reported promptly.
Animal Control Officers work with outside agencies to assist with animal adoption and low cost spaying, neutering, and rabies vaccination clinics. They also work with state departments for testing and reporting animal bites and rabies testing. Educational programs can be arranged for children or citizens on the best way to care for their own pets and how to deal with situations that may arise.
KCSO Animal Control Hotline: (830) 537-3430
Address: 702 FM 289, Comfort, Texas 78013
